Divi's Laboratories delivered a standout first quarter of FY27, with consolidated net profit surging 65.6% year-on-year to ₹902 crore and revenue from operations climbing 27.8% to ₹3,080 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2026. Both figures comfortably exceeded CNBC-TV18 poll estimates of ₹657 crore and ₹2,911 crore respectively.
EBITDA jumped 72.2% to ₹1,255 crore, pushing the EBITDA margin to 40.8% from 30.2% in the year-ago quarter and well above the consensus estimate of 31.4%. The margin expansion reflects stronger earnings conversion on the back of robust top-line growth and operating leverage.
On a standalone basis, the company reported total income of ₹3,037 crore, comprising ₹2,974 crore from operations and ₹63 crore of other income. Expenses came in at ₹1,872 crore, with cost of materials consumed at ₹1,495 crore. Profit before tax stood at ₹1,165 crore, and after a tax charge of ₹274 crore, net profit was ₹891 crore. Basic and diluted earnings per share were ₹33.55.
The board meeting on August 1 also approved senior management appointments: B. Vara Prasad as General Manager (Engineering Purchase) and J. Srinivasa Rao as General Manager (Raw Materials Purchase), both effective immediately.
