NEOS's crypto income products carry high distribution rates. The July 2026 distribution table shows the Boosted Bitcoin High Income ETF at a 40.84% distribution rate, the Ethereum High Income ETF at 32.93%, and the Bitcoin High Income ETF at 26.73%. Those yields reflect option premium income and may include return of capital.
The Bitcoin High Income ETF had a 30-day SEC yield of 2.13% and an expense ratio of 0.99% as of mid-July 2026. The Ethereum High Income ETF carried a 0.98% expense ratio and a 52-week range of $22.25 to $45.43 as of early August.
Goldman's move arrives as Bitcoin crossed $180,000 for the first time on August 6, 2026, according to one report. The bank has separately trimmed its Ethereum ETF exposure by about 70% and exited XRP and Solana-linked ETF positions in the first quarter of 2026, while still holding roughly $700 million in Bitcoin ETFs.
The acquisition gives Goldman a direct stake in the fastest-growing corner of the ETF market, but the deal's value depends on regulatory clearance and the durability of options-based income demand. Whether Goldman can integrate NEOS's 19 funds without diluting their distribution appeal will determine if the $2.25 billion price tag buys a durable income franchise or a cyclical yield product?
