Omnicom Group shares touched $87.42 on August 13, 2026, marking a fresh 52-week high and extending a run that has pushed the advertising holding company back toward the top of its recent trading range. The move arrives less than three weeks after second-quarter results that delivered strong organic growth and a raised full-year outlook, yet also exposed a profitability shortfall that briefly knocked the stock lower.
The tension in Omnicom's story is now unusually visible. The company is reporting faster core growth and wider margins, but the market is still weighing whether the Interpublic acquisition can convert that scale into durable earnings without the integration costs and client risks that have accompanied the deal.
What the Second Quarter Actually Showed
Omnicom reported second-quarter revenue of $6.6 billion, up $2.5 billion year over year, driven primarily by the Interpublic acquisition that closed in November 2025. Core operations revenue reached $6.0 billion, with organic growth of 6.1% and a 1.1% foreign currency benefit. Core adjusted EBITA rose to $1.07 billion, lifting the margin to 17.8% from 15.9% in the comparable combined 2025 period.
Non-GAAP adjusted diluted earnings per share increased 29.3% to $2.65, while reported diluted EPS was $2.08. Management raised its full-year 2026 organic growth outlook to 5%, up from a prior range of 4% to 4.5%, and projected adjusted EPS growth above 15% for the year.
