Tudor Investment Corp, the Connecticut-based macro hedge fund founded by Paul Tudor Jones in 1980, increased its position in BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) to 688,529 shares valued at approximately $22.9 million as of June 30, according to a newly filed Form 13F with the SEC.

The disclosure represents a roughly 19% increase from the 579,083 shares held at the end of the prior quarter. The filing covers the second quarter of 2026 and reflects the fund's discretionary equity holdings subject to 13F reporting requirements for institutional managers with over $100 million in assets.

Jones, a long-time Bitcoin advocate who has previously described the cryptocurrency as a hedge against inflation, has maintained exposure through the regulated ETF vehicle since its U.S. debut in January 2024. The IBIT position remains a small fraction of Tudor's overall portfolio, which was reported at $19.5 billion across 20 holdings in the first quarter of 2026.

The 13F snapshot arrives amid a broader pattern of institutional disclosures in the August filing cycle. UBS Group AG reported approximately 2.5 million IBIT shares worth nearly $90 million as of June 30, a 230% increase in position value from year-end 2025, though the Swiss bank's filing likely reflects client assets in wealth-management accounts rather than proprietary capital. Edelman Financial Engines, an advisory firm with over $260 billion in assets under management, disclosed roughly $34 million across spot Bitcoin ETFs including IBIT and Grayscale products.
