SKF India reported revenue from operations of INR 5,877.9 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, a 27.1% increase year-on-year, according to unaudited standalone results released on August 13 and discussed on an earnings call on August 17.
Profit after tax rose just 0.4% to INR 618.4 million, while profit before tax climbed 14.3% to INR 837.8 million. EBITDA was essentially flat at INR 1,003.9 million, up 0.1% year-on-year.
The EBITDA margin held at 17.1%, and the PBT margin improved to 14.3% from 13.7% a year earlier, a gain of 61 basis points. Quarter-on-quarter, the PBT margin expanded 527 basis points and the EBITDA margin rose 540 basis points.
Sales grew 22% year-on-year but dipped 0.7% sequentially. Management highlighted a first business win with a major passenger vehicle manufacturer for a wheel bearing solution and noted that automotive plants in Bangalore, Haridwar, and Pune now source over 98% of their energy from renewables.
Consolidated total income came in at INR 6,001.6 million, with total comprehensive income of INR 611.7 million. Total expenses for the consolidated entity were INR 5,163.8 million.
Shailesh Kumar Sharma, Managing Director, said the company started FY27 on a resilient note, citing the strength of its portfolio and disciplined execution. CFO Mayank Holani emphasized operational efficiency and cost competitiveness.
The results underscore a widening gap between top-line momentum and bottom-line conversion. While revenue surged, the near-stagnant PAT and flat EBITDA suggest cost pressures absorbed much of the operating leverage.
