Strategy bought no bitcoin for a fifth straight week, while raising its USD reserve to $3.75 billion and selling $544.5 million in MSTR shares. The five-week pause is the longest in two years and marks a decisive shift from the relentless accumulation that defined the company's identity.

The last confirmed bitcoin purchase covered the week ending June 21, when Strategy acquired 520 BTC for about $34.9 million. Since then, SEC filings for June 29, July 6, July 13, and July 20 each recorded no new buys. The company still holds 843,775 BTC, a position valued at roughly $58 billion on its live dashboard.

Instead of buying coins, Strategy has been selling equity and, in late June and early July, bitcoin itself. Between June 29 and July 5, the company sold 3,588 BTC for approximately $216 million, the largest disposal in its history. Proceeds were directed toward preferred dividends and cash reserves. A board-approved framework adopted in late June authorized up to $1.25 billion in further bitcoin sales, alongside $1 billion for common stock buybacks and $1 billion for digital credit securities.
